French Writing!

In Français, students invented a monster and then wrote detailed directions on how to draw it.

Then, another student read and followed the directions to draw the monster.

How clear were the directions? How closely could someone else recreate the monster?

Here are the results!

Speechtastic!

 It's time for another Speechtastic!

This time, students are preparing a Book Talk Speech. Students have each chosen a book and are planning a 2-5 minute speech to explain to the audience why they should (or should not) read their book. Students should be sure to have an introduction, a middle (with a short retell of the book as well as a few reasons why someone should (or not) read their book) and a conclusion.

Students are reminded to add their personality and really make the speech their own!

Presentations are Wednesday, May 25th.

This is a public speaking "club" that will help students improve their oral French skills through short speeches.

This time around, students can choose any one of the presentation options that they have not already presented. They will prepare their short oral presentation, fulfilling all of the criteria (listed on the pages they have in their binder).

Students should also keep in mind eye contact, volume and expression during their presentation.
