Speechtastic!

 It's time for another Speechtastic!

This time, students are preparing an Informative Speech. They have chosen a topic (a person, a place, an event, a product...) and are planning a 2-5 minute speech to inform the audience about this topic. They should be sure to have an introduction, a middle (with all the important information explained with clear details) and a conclusion.

Speechtastic Presentations are Wednesday, December 1st!

Exciting News!

 Students have each been issued a LOCKER!

They will use their lockers to store their outdoor clothing and shoes.

As of now, locks will not be issued or used.

As we know, reading every day is the best way for children to become independent readers. Reading Club makes it easy to find the right books.

Sciences Humaines: learning about Canada's involvement in World War I, discussing the importance of Remembrance Day and the poppy

 Since today is Friday, students had the chance to reflect on the past week by completing a POOF (Positive Observations on Friday) page.

We shared our observations in class, and now students have been asked to share their page with someone at home.

What a great way to start the weekend!

 Students received their evaluation and self-evaluation for their 

Science Design Process project.

Any students wishing to re-work their project may 

re-submit their project by Monday, November 8th to be re-evaluated.
